The defender, born in 1999, made his debut in Central Rosary in November 2020 against Godoy Cruz (2-1 win) after having distinguished himself in the Reserva del Canalla, where he worked as a midfielder or midfielder. Adapting to his new role on the pitch never weighed on him and he earned his place as a starter in Rosario’s team, where he was able to be in the sights of big clubs, such as River de Gallardo, in 2021. This was how , step by step, he has become one of the best performing full-backs in Argentine football.

After dishing up a total of 15 assists, a record which places him among the best in the world in that position, Spain set their sights on him and he was transferred abroad.

In July 2022, after 96 games at Central, Lautaro joined Elche in Spain, a club in which his representative, Christian Bragarnik, appears as a shareholder. The player was bought for two million euros but remained in Rosario until the end of the year.

He has played in seven games so far in 2023, although he has only started three, and has already provided his first assist. Now, barring imponderables, he will have the pleasure of returning to Buenos Aires for the FIFA appointment to share training and concentration with the world champions.
