Huracán receives Sporting Cristal, from Peru, in the first leg of Phase 3 of the Copa Libertadores de América which will qualify for the group stage.
The match will be played from 21:00 at the Tomás Adolfo Ducó Stadium, with refereeing by Uruguayan Andrés Matonte and will be broadcast by Fox Sports and Pluto TV.
The return will be next Thursday at the National Stadium in Lima and the winner will access the group stage of the most important tournament on the continent, while the loser will play the Copa Sudamericana.
The ‘Globo’ got to this stage after eliminating Boston River, from Uruguay, after a goalless draw in Montevideo and winning 1-0 at the Parque de los Patricios with a penalty from Matías Cóccaro.
Sporting Cristal, meanwhile, left Paraguay’s Nacional on the road after losing 2-0 in Asunción and reversed the key at home with a 5-1 win defined in the last 20 minutes.
Entering the Copa Libertadores will represent a collection of 3 million dollars and an extra prize of 300 thousand of the same currency per match won.
Instead, the Copa Sudamericana pays 900,000 dollars for participation in the group stage and 100,000 for each victory.
