Central Rosarywhich comes from the beating to Junín da Sarmiento (4-1), tries to recover this Sunday at home against Santa Fe Unionin one of the matches that give continuity to the seventh round of the Professional soccer league.
The match is played from 21:30 at the Gigante de Arroyito stadium, in Central, is refereed by Luis Lobo Medina and broadcast by ESPN Premium.
The centre-back has 10 points and his season isn’t bad, apart from the fact that in Junín he was beaten in a match that he won 1-0 and in which he was left with 10 players after 11 minutes of the second half due to the Kevin Ortiz’s sending off was decisive.
The introduction of Agustín Toledo for the suspended Ortiz is the only change that coach Miguel Angel Russo will make to receive the Santa Fe team.
Central have won their three home games (against Argentinos, Arsenal and Godoy Cruz) and are favorites against Unión, who recently added their first win in their last fixture in Santa Fe against Estudiantes de La Plata ( 2-0), thus closing a series of nine games without adding all three points, three from the previous tournament.
Central members sold out the 22,000 fans the club reserves for them digitally, in less than 12 hours, as happens at every home game, which is why the team will have the support of over 40,000 fans in Arroyito’s Gigante.
The record between the two stands at 57 games and favors Unión with 22 wins to Central’s 15, and they have also drawn 20 times.
