As he confessed, the decision has to do with discrimination: “It is a discriminatory and anti-Semitic country. If he can, he’s Greek and nothing happens. I’m proud that he’s my son and I don’t care what his last name is.”

Liberman, who has two children, was referring to the older of the two, who is called Blas and with whom he has an excellent relationship that he shares on social media. Father and son crossed Europe, in the preview of the World Cup in Qatar 2022.

Faced with the imminent choice of course, the journalist assured that he would prefer Blas not follow in his footsteps: “Journalism is not normal. Have you seen what TV is? Have you zapped? Current journalism, new channels and programming.. . You have to dress in jeans, be funny, a player, call a footballer by a nickname. This is not journalism, it’s something else that I don’t know what it’s called,” said Liberman, who condemned: “I’d rather he had a normal career”.
