The Miami tournament will be held from March 19 to April 2, at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

Djokovic is on the list of previous entries, but his participation was up in the air due to US regulations requiring non-citizens and non-residents to present a certificate of vaccination against the coronavirus.

Djokovic fails to meet this requirement due to his refusal to get vaccinatedwhich last year already prevented him from competing in American tournaments, including the US Open.

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) extended the requirement for non-citizen and non-resident visitors to present a certificate of complete coronavirus vaccination from January 8 to April 10.

In 2022, the Serbian was unable to compete in the Australian Open and did not participate in the American tour, both at the beginning of the season, in Indian Wells and Miami, and in the summer, in Washington, Montreal and Cincinnati, as well as the “big” New Yorker .
