Argentina comes to the match at their best after winning the World Cup against France. Since December, the Argentine team has been waiting to play in the country to reunite with its people and celebrate. Panama, on the other hand, will play with an alternative team, given that they will face Costa Rica in the Nations League on March 28. Furthermore, coach Thomas Christiansen will not travel as the game is not a priority for him, so he will instead send under-20 coach Jorge Dely Valdés.

The record between the two points to 2 games, 2 wins for Argentina. Panama has never won. There was not even a draw.
