Boxing leaves the ring and goes to bookstores

Boxing, like almost no other, is a sport friend of literature. Stories written with the epic of the winners but also with the legends of the vanquished. Sport of blows and hardness above the ring, but also of words and beauties when it comes to telling it.

There is no clear exception in these texts by the journalist and storyteller Walter Vargas, who finally -in his eighth book for Ediciones al Arco- dedicates his gala pen to the world champions and to those losers who have heard applause, many evenings held in the indelible memories of Luna Park, a the great fights that still seem to vibrate, to the immense duels that have become mythologies that from time to time it is a pleasure to see again and also the specialized journalists who accompanied with their voices and lyrics many fights that deserved to be told.
