Bayern Munich takes sides after the pineapples between Mané and Sané: declaration and sanction for the Senegalese

“Sadio Mané, 31, will not be in the FC Bayern squad for next Saturday’s home match against 1899 Hoffenheim,” the short text begins. And completes: “The reason is Mané’s misconduct after Bayern’s Champions League match against Manchester City. In addition, Mané will receive a fine.”

Mané, who came on in the 69th minute, argued with Sané on the pitch.

Bayern’s champion this season, Mané did not live up to expectations, above all due to the injury to his right fibula suffered in early November and which prevented him from playing the World Cup in Qatar with Senegal. He returned to competition at the end of February.

Beaten 3-0 by Manchester City, Bayern need a big comeback next Wednesday at the Allianz Arena to progress to the semi-finals. Will Mané be on the pitch?
