Scandal in Brazil: an Argentine footballer involved in a complaint for corruption and match-fixing

The investigations began at the end of last year, after Vila Nova midfielder Romário confessed that received 150,000 reais in exchange for committing a penalty in the match against Sport Recife for the Serie B championship.
