Agostino Canapino keep taking firm steps Indycarthe most popular formula car category in the United States, and this Thursday it passed the rookie test of the Indianapolis 500 for rookie riders, so they can take part in training and qualifying for the legendary race that will take place on May 28th.
On a day interrupted by rain, which saw the first free practice for the riders, the category confirmed it “all rookies have passed the Rookie Orientation Program”therefore both Canapino and Americans Sting Ray Robb and Benjamin Pedersen were enabled to conduct the problem 107 of the Indy500.
The test consisted of three stages. In the first, you had to do 10 laps around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval at an average speed between 205-210 miles per hour (330-338 km/h); in the second, it was increased to 15 laps at 210-215 mph (338-346 km/h); and the close consisted of 10 over 215 mph (346 km/h).

Earlier, on his social networks, the Juncos Racing driver had anticipated his sensations: “I’m having my first time at the legendary Indianapolis Oval. It’s hard to believe that’s true, but it will happen and I’m so excited and happy and nervous and anxious, all my emotions come together just thinking about it.”.
