The Parisian club published this Saturday the list of footballers who will undertake the trip to Troyes, located 180 kilometers from the capital, and did not include the Argentina national team captainwho moved to Saudi Arabia without authorization from the club this week for advertising commitments.

Although there has been no communication from the institution on the matter, the French press has reported it Rosario had received a two-week suspension without pay. His absence from a roster in which coach Christophe Galtier included several youth players seems to reinforce this notion.

Messi’s romance with PSG had another chapter added on Friday, when the footballer had posted a video on his Instagram account in which he apologized for his absence Monday at training. Although it was initially agreed that the players would have the day off, Galtier changed his plans following Sunday’s defeat to Lorient at the Parc des Princes.

The situation surprised Leo, who had planned a trip to Saudi Arabia to fulfill a trade commitment (he is a tourism ambassador for that country). His absence in training would lead to the unconfirmed suspension for two weeks. For now, the player hasn’t shown up for training on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

“(I want) to apologize to my teammates, at the club. I thought we would have (the day) off after the game, as we had in the previous weeks. I had arranged this trip to Arabia, which I had previously canceled and was unable to. I apologize for what I did and I’m here waiting for what the club will decide.”explained the Argentinian in the video he shared on Friday.

On this situation, Galtier had been consulted in the press conference before the match against Troyes. “I was informed (of the fine) earlier in the week by the board and have agreed not to comment. I haven’t made the decision”, explained the DT, who remarked that he was only “an employee of the club” and that he had accepted the orders received.

“We’ll see what happens when Leo comes back. There will be a chatthe coach said when asked about Messi’s future at the club. And he added: “There is a big gap between what you (journalists) can say or write and reality. I insist on this: there is a big gap between everything you can invent and the reality of the locker room”.
