San Luis signs the agreement to organize the 2025 South American Youth Games

THE IV South American Youth Games will be held in San Luis during 2025, after an agreement was signed today between the Argentine province, the South American Sports Organization (Odesur) and the Argentine Olympic Committee (COA).

The agreement was signed at Casa San Luis in the City of Buenos Aires, in the presence of the Governor Alberto Rodriguez Saa; the head of Odesur, Camilo López Moreira; the president of the AOC, Mario Moccia, and the secretary of sport, Inés Arrondo, among other authorities.

“I appreciate the effort to promote St. Louis as hosting these Games. We will make every effort to make it an outstanding event”promised the governor.

“Argentina has become one of Odesur’s most important allies. We are sure they will be spectacular Games. Argentina has a great experience in this type of events and we are happy to bring them to San Luis“, approved López Moreira.

Moccia, in turn, appreciated the organization of a “transcendent competition for the youth of the future”, which will give them “their first competitive experience and growth through sport, culture and education”.

Moccia added: “These Games are important for the youth of the future. They will allow them to have a place where they can have their first competitive experience and develop through sport, culture and education”.

Camilo Pérez: “Argentina has become one of ODESUR’s most important allies. We are sure they will be spectacular games. Argentina has a great experience in this type of events and we are happy to bring them to San Luis”.

The IV edition of the South American Youth will take place from March 27 to April 5 with athletes aged 14 to 17 from ArgentinaAruba, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Curaçao, Ecuador, Guyana, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay and Venezuela.

The first Games were held in Lima, Peru in 2013; the second edition was in Santiago de Chile in 2017 and the third, last year, in Rosario.
