And it seems that beyond some bad memories that may have remained of that December 18th, they didn’t like playing in our country either. The other members of the group are Honduras and Gambia, even if on paper they are not powerful teams, everything is a little more unpredictable in youth tournaments.

Is that, although this was the first surprise of the Youth World Cup, the Asian team showed the condition of the game. Speed, vertigo and efficiency were the keys to victory.

To make matters worse, the operation looks well-oiled and well-trained as the second goal of the match was the product of set-piece play which took the entire French rearguard by surprise.

France had a reaction and in the absence of 20 minutes discounted. From a penalty, on the feet of Alan Virginius, the hope of being able to equalize was reborn, but she remained alone there. With the final whistle, the Korean substitutes’ bench exploded and the first surprise happened in Mendoza.

Without a doubt, France will try to turn the page quickly and will have to put their heads in the second match of the group stage, which will be played next Thursday, from 15:00, against The Gambia.
