The fifth round of the national tourist season will bring the General San Martín racetrack back to Comodoro Rivadavia, Chubut, where TN has not raced since October 24, 2004. This weekend, in the category led by Nicolás Posco and Julián Santero in Class 2 and Class 3, respectively, there will be an absence of weight: that of Mariano Werner.

The man from Entre Ríos will not be able to dispute this date as it overlaps with the Trans-Am in the United States, which will take place at the Lime Rock circuit in Lakeville (Connecticut). As a result, his Toyota Corolla will be driven by Emanuel Abdala, the 2021 Class 2 champion, who will return to the division where he already competed with the “Coiro Racing Team” for five rounds in the 2022 season.

Alfonso Domenech will instead be present in Comodoro Rivadavia – who had announced his departure from TN after dissociating himself from Martos Competición a few days ago-. The man from Pergamino has agreed to continue with the Nico Kern Racing Car and will replace the Toyota Corolla with the Chevrolet Cruze used by Nicolás Montanari. “I am very happy to be able to continue and I thank all the sponsors and all the people who support us so that we can continue,” confirmed the 2016 class 2 champion.
