Ezequiel Pocho Lavezzi worried everyone this week, more precisely last Wednesday morning, when dramatic versions arrived from Punta del Este: one of these claimed that the former footballer had been stabbed.

Admitted to the Cantegril sanatorium, in Uruguay’s most famous spa city, Pocho apparently suffered a wound to his shoulder blade, according to what was officially reported by the police. And his life was not in danger.

It all started in his home in José Ignacio, a few kilometers from Punta, where a patrol car approached after calling the emergency number. Seeing him seriously injured, they decided to have him transferred to the medical center.

Neither the clinic nor the former footballer himself spoke about it while the local Uruguayan press launched all kinds of hypotheses, for example that Pocho had clashed with a family member in the middle of a party and following that brawl had received a “puntazo .” “in the abdomen.

His entourage immediately clarified that what really happened was that the former PSG and Napoli player, among other teams, wanted to climb a ladder to change a light bulb and fell from above, hitting his body against a piece of furniture which hit him in the shoulder. .

El Pocho has not yet spoken, but on Saturday it could be said that he “broke the silence” by showing a black and white photo in which he is seen recovered, or at least without significant physical damage.

On the one hand, in front of the photo appears a person laughing at what he sees on his cell phone, as if Pocho was saying that he is making fun of the things that have been said in recent days about his health, some of them dramatic.
