Lanús and Independiente, who are unlikely to advance to the quarterfinals of the Professional Football League Cup, will meet this Saturday at the Ciudad de Lanús Néstor Díaz Pérez stadium in a match that matches the 13th zone B date of the tournament. The duel will begin at 9:30 pm, it will be directed by Patricio Loustau and aired by TNT Sports.
Both teams have had a bit of a campaign in this League Cup and their attention is focused on the Copa Sudamericana. For this reason, both Jorge Almirón and Eduardo Domínguez will reserve several players for next week’s promises in continental competition.
Lanús, who came off defeat to the Wanderers as a guest in Montevideo and leader of group A of the South American, will face Barcelona on Wednesday in Guayaquil. Independiente, who beat La Guaira in Venezuela on Tuesday and second in Zone G behind Ceará of Brazil, will face General Caballero in Asunción on Tuesday.
