Proud receiver James McCann after the game. Especially doing so with a lot of players. If it has a pitcher, you have to have him on the same page all night. But being on the same page with multiple players throughout the game is special to share that with so many people.

This is definitely a great time to spend as a teamsaid first baseman Pete Alonso, who gave up the home run in the win. It was one of the highlights of my career, because it was an extraordinary battle. Like seeing a unicorn or white bisonhe added in a colorful way.

Megill started the game for the New York squad and retired after five innings and 88 pitches. The bullpen took care of the work afterwards.

In total, 159 shots were needed to beat the Phillies attack. This would be a record for a game with no run or hit according to Baseball-Reference.com.

This is a team sportsummary by Megill. I’m so happy. Nakakabaliw. This is the first time I have been a part of such a game.

Diaz provided the finishing touch, as the crowd of 32,416 spectators sang. Diaz ended the fight by retiring Bryce Harper, Nick Castellanos and JT Realmuto.

This is the 17th game without a run or combined hit in MLB history, and the first since 9/11. Josh Hader and Corbin Burnes of the Milwaukee Brewers neutralized the Cleveland hitters.
