Controversy with Dani Alves: his mother has released the images and name of the woman who is taking him to trial for rape

The lawyer of the victim of the sexual assault allegedly committed by Daniele Alves announced on Thursday that it will report all those who disseminate images of the former footballer or information allowing his identification, after the former footballer’s mother revealed his identity in court social networks.

In a statement, the lawyer Ester García, who is acting as a public prosecutor on behalf of the victim, denounced that the dissemination of images or any information that allows the identification of a victim of sexual violence “constitutes a flagrant crime”.

“It is deplorable that, to this day, attempts continue to be made to destroy people who dare to speak out,” the note reads.

Given this situation, warns the public prosecution lawyer will initiate legal action “against all those people or means of communication who disseminate images” of the victim or provide any information, direct or indirect, that allows his identification.

The Barcelona Prosecutor’s Office is asking for nine years in prison for the former Brazilian international, as well as ten years of probation and compensation of 150 thousand euros for the victim, while the private prosecutor’s office raises the request for imprisonment to twelve years, the maximum sentence established in the Spanish penal code for a crime of this type.

The trial against Dani Alves will begin on February 5 at the Barcelona court.
