It’s in the DNA. And it was shown in the ring. Nico Ali Walsh, the grandson of the legendary Muhammad Ali, this Saturday achieved an impressive victory against the American Alejandro Ibarra. Dating brutal knockout in the first round of the match held at the MGM Garden in Las Vegas.

Ali Walsh organized the contest into a wonderful combination which allowed him to reach five successes as a professional and become one of the great prospects among the super welterweights in the world.

Ibarra gave the Chicago native and Las Vegas resident an unparalleled opportunity to execute the combination of blows that judged the lawsuit: opened his guard too wide to connect Ali Walsh and this, quick reflexes, counterattacked.

He made it with a step to his left to avoid Ibarra’s impact, while a left footed shot to the chin left his rival unprotected. The next thing is a withered righta tenth of a second after the first blow, which served to knock the Denverman out permanently.

The match referee, Russell Mora, approached the distraught fighter to start counting, but after a few seconds of surveying the situation up close, he correctly decided to stop the match.

“I’m raising my grandfather”said Ali Walsh after winning the first fight of the night held in an iconic city for boxing.

This 21-year-old boxer’s path to the hired field began in August 2021, with a knockout victory against his compatriot Jordan Weeks, in Tulsa, United States. In the same way he defeated James Westley II in Atlanta and Jeremiah Yeager, again in Tulsa.

Meanwhile, by points, he defeated Reyes Sánchez, at Madison Square Garden in New York.
