The famous Swedish coach Sven-Göran Eriksson75 years old and former technical director of the national teams England AND Mexicohe acknowledged today that he was suffering cancer and that doctors believe he has a year to live.
“At best, I have a year left. At worst, a little less,” said Eiksson, a former coach of the Manchester City AND Leicester in the English Premier League.
The coach, with remarkable fortitude, declared: “I resist as long as I can, instead of staying at home complaining about bad luck, I prefer to have a positive outlook and not give in to adversity.”
Eriksson had left the business last year due to Health problemshis role as sporting director of the Swedish club Karlstad, the last stage of a long and fruitful career that began in the late 1970s.
