Preolimpico Olimpico Sub 23: great goal from Paraguay which complicates the standings of Argentina and Uruguay

Peruvian Diego Romero also prevented Paraguay from reaching 2-0, frustrating a header from Ronaldo De Jesús in the 70th minute, with reflexes that protected his team on other occasions.

In the fourth match, Peru will face Uruguay on Tuesday, while Paraguay rests to face Chile the following week in the last match of this phase.

The pre-Olympic tournament, which is being held for the first time on Venezuelan soil and offers two places in Paris 2024, will define a regional champion, a title held by Argentina, and a runner-up, a place occupied in the last edition by Brazil.
