A Chacarita Juniors fan died after being stabbed in a fight that took place in one of the stands of the San Martín stadium during the first half of the match played this afternoon against Deportivo Maipú de Mendoza, first round of the Primera Nacional.
The episode occurred in the local capital, following an internal raid, security sources told Télam.
Due to what happened, the match was delayed at half-time until referee Pablo Giménez decided to continue it with the approval of the head of the police operation after a meeting in the locker room.
