After the controversy that erupted when gray became the predominant color in the Monumental, the top manager of the Núñez club took action and decided on a series of changes and further works to be carried out with this objective.

As explained in detail by Brito in a thread on the lX social network (formerly known as Twitter), the club has decided to build a red and white ring that will surround the Sívori stand, repaint the car park, the central hall and the visitors’ house and tunnel. .

The car park, recently renovated and expanded onto five levels, will be completely covered in our colours.

The shield room

The Central Hall (hereinafter “Shield Hall”) will have a metal roof that will include the club’s shields. A new red and white metal strip ceiling with 100% LED lighting will be installed.

The “Tunnel of Triumph”

The home and away tunnels will have a continuous red and white band on the players’ path to the field of play. The cover will be backlit and at each end there will be the phrase that summarizes what we seek: “Honor the past, writing the present, for a future of greatness”.

“More social life”

But beyond the great changes that express the history and glory of the River, we pay particular attention to the works that improve the lives of club members. For this reason, external barbecue areas are now being built with grills, tables, cleaning and washing areas, ping pong tables and ping pong footballs. A structure specially created in the club’s colours.

Murals and shields

In the first game of this year we debuted new murals at the central entrance to Sivori Baja beach, designed by the same muralist who created the existing ones in Sivori Alta. Additionally, we have placed more than 20 shields throughout the property. We repainted the entire lower external sector of the Belgrano grandstand in red and white. We formed the flags with the seats in the stalls of San Martín and Belgrano Baja and painted the popular ones red and white.
