Completing the podium was the German Isabel Gose, who won the silver medal with a time of 8’17’53, just nine hundredths faster than the Frenchwoman, who scored a double in the cross-country races by winning both the 800 and the 1,500 freestyle.
Agostina Hein, eighth in these World Championships in the 400 freestyle final, will close her participation in the capital of Qatar on Sunday with her performance in the 400 medley series.
