There is a story in France that seems to be inspired by the movie Nine Queens starring Ricardo Darín and Gastón Pauls. That is, at the end of 2021, a man pretended to be a Paris Saint Germain player to avoid paying a bill at a luxury hotel and, after discovering it was a lie, he was sentenced to two months in prison.

The defendant was 28 years old and on Thursday he learned of the verdict after the trial that took place in the judicial city of Liseux. On December 14, 2021, the man spent two nights in a luxury hotel where he spent 227 euros. However, at check-in he found a strange way to withdraw without paying.

As detailed by the news portal Ouest-France, on the same day the team led by Mauricio Pochettino was in the city after facing Liseux for the Gambardella Cup which the Parisian won 5-1. Considering this, the man excused himself by saying he was part of the group of leading stars, Messi, Neymar and Mbappé and He left the phone number of a supposed agent who would be in charge of paying the bill at the reception.

The number was wrong, no one answered the phone and from the hotel they decided to file a complaint. Thus, after the trial that took place on April 28, the man was sentenced to two months in prison and the joke did not go well.

How was PSG’s last game?

Last date Paris Saint-Germain shouted champion with little celebration at the Parc des Princes. And as happened with 1-1 vs. Lens, the final draw was a bit sour. This time he won 3-1 vs. Strasbourg as a guest, but they couldn’t bear it or define it and they tied it at 3-3 in the final minutes. Prizes for locals for effort and penalties for Lionel Messi’s team for its defensive problems.

At the start of this match, Mauricio Pochettino’s statements were shocking, announcing that he and Kylian Mbappé would remain at PSG next season. “Now 100% I will stay at PSG next year and Kylian Mbappé will stay as well,” said the Argentine who has a contract until 2023.
