What is the Gesell camera

The Gesell Room is a method developed by the American psychologist and pediatrician Arnold Gesell, designed to facilitate the conversation of people in a controlled environment. This space is made up of two rooms separated by one-way glass, equipped with audio and video systems.

Mental health professionals interview victims, allowing them to testify only once in the trial without being subjected to revictimization, unless they express a desire to expand their testimony. Both accusers and defenders have the opportunity to ask questions they deem relevant. Subsequently, the specialists draw up a technical report summarizing the observations made during the interview.

The complaint

The complaint, presented by the 24-year-old journalist, explains that the events occurred after a match between Atlético and Vélez, when the victim was invited by one of the players to the Hilton hotel. The young woman claims to have been abused by several players present in the room.
