“So we received CENARD (National Center for High Sports Performance). These are the tools we give to our athletes to represent our flag. Clearly every step they take makes them bigger, because they have been left alone,” he highlighted on social networks, which pointed directly to the previous management.

The former mayor of La Plata and member of the PRO is the second undersecretary for Sport in the Milei administration. On January 31, Ricardo Schlieper resigned following the appointment of Daniel Scioli as secretary of Tourism, Environment and Sport. Aligned with the former ambassador to Brazil, Garro demonstrated the Cenard in a nearly one-minute edited video.

“In four years they broke everything,” he noted on his networks, showing, among other images, leaks, broken cables, moisture on the walls and the cracked athletics track.

“Sport is progressing! We will do our best to change history,” launched Garro three months before the start of the Paris Olympic Games.

The video that Garro released on his social networks came three days after the Ministry of Tourism, Environment and Sports began a plan to reduce staff at CeNARD. It is estimated that it will affect 30% of workers. The operation was launched on Monday at 8.30am, with the participation of five members of the Federal Police.
