Diego Schwartzman and American John Isner advanced to the round of 16 of the Masters 1000 in Rome on Monday after defeating the duo consisting of Argentine Andrés Molteni and Mexican Santiago González 5-7, 6-3 and 10-1. However, all eyes are on the huge difference in height between the Peque and the North American giant: no more or less than 38 centimeters!

The picture is surprising. And with good reason. But despite the size differences, Peque (1.70 meters) and Isner (2.08) form a great couple already involved in the final stages of the tournament.

Schwartzman and Isner came off a fight that they started to lose 7-5 in the first set. It was very equal, but they provided three services that Molteni and González took advantage of to put them in trouble. However, in the second manga, El Peque and the American came out on top and firmly prevailed 6-3.

The final set was conducted by ‘match tie break’ up to ten points. Schwartzman and Isner unleashed all their power and organized the match by crushing 10-1, which gave them a pass to the round of 16, where they were already waiting for their rivals.

Schwartzman will make his debut this Tuesday in an individual draw against Serbian Miomir Kecmanovic in the Rome Masters individual tournament on Tuesday. El Peque has twice beaten Kecmanovic, who ranks 31st in the ATP rankings.
