The race doesn’t stop and takes steps forward with each game. Coach Fernando Gago does a lot of things, though perhaps that empowering footballers is the best. Or at least most notably. Much was said at the beginning of the year about the need to include a place going forward. That – along with the center steering wheel – is the massive request of fans on social networks. But the coach reiterated on several occasions that he would not appear in the market: he said that with Enzo Copetti and Javier Correa the position was covered. And how right the coach is: Copetti and Correa were the team’s top scorers of the semester and they never stopped celebrating. The former Atlético de Rafaela scored a brace, while the former Colón crowned the winner with a good definition of his left foot.

So far this semester, Copetti has scored 10 goals in 18 fights: 8 for the League Cup, one for the South American Cup and the rest for the Argentine Cup. Correa, on the other hand, celebrated 8 times in 13 games: 6 for the League Cup and 2 for the South American Cup.

Some numbers serve as a measure of how forwards have grown in their performances. Copetti, born in the Chaco city of Resistencia 26 years ago, scored 10 goals in 51 games until the start of this year. The native of the Córdoba capital, 29 years old, indicated 6 of 29 games controversial in Avellaneda’s cast shirt.

A strange one: the strikers ’goals were in the second half. Copetti was punished by ten seconds of game play after Chancalay’s good qualification and the scorer did not fail in execution. He also didn’t hesitate when he left a ball in the area and at half-turn he pointed before Devecchi came out. Correa is the best of the threenot just because of the definition (he hooked from the right and finished with the left foot) but because of the previous play that included a pass without looking from the Colombian. Edwin Cardona.

“We had a good fight. For us it was a final, we thought of it that way, and we won on all lines. We have been looking for him since the beginning. Everything comes out and that’s what fills me up a lot ”Gago declared after the Cylinder win.

And I added: “From the beginning of the preseason we tried to play in a certain way. We had an idea and we strengthened it with passing games and with positive results”.
