Luciano De Cecco made history in the final of Italian Super League when shouting champion in t-shirt dand Lube Civitanovawho won 3-0 (partial 25-23, 25-16 and 25-21) at perogia from Sebastian Sole | and closed the final series by 3 to 1. Perugia, with De Cecco on the pitch, won 3-2 in the 2017/18 edition. It was the first title of that tournament for the Santa Fe player and the first and only one that the team from the Umbria region has credited.
The following year, victory went to Lube, who also won the final series 3-2, and De Cecco was left wanting to add his second Scudetto.
In April 2020, after the cancellation of the 2019/20 Super League playoffs due to pandemic (no champion), De Cecco changed his shirt and signed a contract with Lubewho won the Champions League in 2019. Soon after, Perugia announced the arrival of Solé, who played an unfinished championship with Verona.
Last season, the two teams dominated the regular stage and clashed again in a very special final for Argentine volleyball, where De Cecco once again celebrated. Furthermore, he scored a decisive point to seal the win in the fourth point of the series, which Lube won 3-1.

Perugia and Lube are again the best teams in the regular stage of the 2021/22 championship.
