Robert Lewandoski arrived at Bayern Munich in the 2014-15 season as a player much expected after his great stint at Borussia Dortmund and, far from disappointing, he left to capture the idol brand. The 33-year-old Pole, the club’s second all-time top scorer, announced that it will not renew the contract which will expire in June 2023.

He converted 343 goals in 374 games and won 19 titles, including eight Bundesliga titles and the triplet of the European Champions League-European Super Cup-Club World Cup in 2020. However, this love story seems to be over.

As reported Bild ng SportsBayern Munich intended to extend the relationship with Lewandowski for a year, but, due to the footballer’s refusal, who wanted the three and increased his salary, Not selling him in this transfer market would mean releasing him a year later. And that is exactly what they want to avoid.

The German newspaper also featured as the main argument in the player’s decision that “he had finished his time at the Bavarian club.”

Because of this situation, in Germany they have already put a price on the third highest scorer in Champions League history (equivalent to 86 with Benzema, but with a better scoring average). Whoever wants to pick up the scorer has to put on the table an offer around € 40 million. the

In this context, Barcelona appears as the most likely destination for Pole, Argentina’s rival to Qatar 2022. Despite the economic difficulties of the Catalan institution, the president Joan Laporta Ensures that the transition is possible.

And the desire of the attacker goes in both directions. He wants to play for Barça and is working hard to join the team led by Xavi Hernández, where he scored 4 goals in 5 PJs, the most memorable being sixth in a historic 8-2 for the quarterfinals of the 2019-20 Champions League in Lisbon.

Julian Nagelsmann remains absent from this whole questionbeyond the fact that he always talks to the footballer: “I’m not the right person to impose vetos. He added: “There is communication between us. I will never speak in public for or against something as if my word were law. I don’t have enough importance and that should continue the case.”
