Former teammates of the Argentine soccer player Maximiliano Rollonwho died Saturday in a car accident with his sister Ariel, recalled on Sunday the 27-year-old player who trained at La Masía del Barcelona in Spain for six years.
Moroccan Munir el Haddadi, one of Rolón’s great friends with Barcelona’s youth group, has posted three photos since then and wrote: “Rest in peace, my friend.”

Accidental death
The vehicle they were riding in crossed the lane and then hit a large tree in the shoulder area, about 600 meters from the location of the toll station.
The two brothers, who were traveling in a Fiat Punto, died instantly, according to Pujatense police station chief Eduardo Franchi.
They both played football for two Chabás clubs. Ariel at Huracán and Maximiliano at Atlético, the latter, with a stint in the Argentine youth teams – where he won the South American title with the Sub 20 – and the subsidiary of the Spanish team for which Lionel Messi rose to fame.
According to reports, they were traveling to Rosario to look for a relative.
The leader of the Chabás community, Lucas Lesgart, said: “People are saddened by what happened.”
The case is in the hands of the prosecutor of the Public Ministry of the Accusation of Casilda, Juan Pablo Baños. And firefighters from the town of Pujato worked at the scene, as well as personnel from the Scientific Police to carry out the necessary skills.
His career
Maxi Rolón, who wore an Arsenal de Sarandí shirt in the 2017 season (played 4 games) and is currently enlisting for Atlético Chabás of the Casildense League, has formed lower divisions in the FC Barcelona quarry, which played on the B team of the Blaugrana creature. He also passed through Santos from Brazil, Lugo from Spain, Coquimbo Unido from Chile and Fuerza Amarilla from Ecuador.
As a youth he was part of the Argentina Sub 20 National Team that became champion at the South American Championship in Uruguay 2015. There, Rolón, scorer of several goals, was a teammate of Ángel Correa -voted best player of the tournament-, Emiliano Buendía and Giovanni Simeone -leading scorer, with 9 cries-, among others. He then joined the squad that was eliminated in the first round of the World Cup in New Zealand.
