Something changed between Friday and Monday morning at the La Quemita property in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Bajo Flores. Frank Darío Kudelka, who 72 hours ago gave “guarantees” of continuity to the Huracán leader, informed the squad that he had resigned from his position as coach, despite the fact that he had a contract until the next that December.

All this, a week after facing Deportivo Madryn for the 32nd final of the Argentine Cup, at the Coloso Marcelo Bielsa stadium in Rosario and fifteen days before the start of the Professional League.

Kudelka will call a press conference this Monday afternoon to explain the reasons that prompted his departureto be attributed to lack of leadership response in payment problems with soccer players, in the previous one in an important match against Independiente, for the final date, where he wasted his chance to reach the quarterfinals with a heavy 0-3 defeat.

Kudelka’s second stint at the Globe leadership began in March 2021 when he replaced Israel Damonte and went through turbulent times, although he encountered some regularity at the end of the last Professional League River won. But in this Cup he lost six games from 14 and began to look back on the fight for permanence.

In total, there were 46 games directed with 16 wins, 14 draws and 16 losses, giving a 45% validity percentage.

In this way, the current Professional League Cup is billed by its coach number 11, as Kudelka is the last link in a chain that forms Rudolph DePaoli (Central Barracks), Ivan Delfino (Patronage), Angel William Hoyos (workshops), Christian Gonzalez (Central Rosary), Mauricio Pellegrino (Velez), Claudio Sponton (platense), flowers of diego (Godoy Cruz), Juan Manuel Azconzabal (Atletico Tucuman), Peter Troglio (Saint Lawrence) at Diego Davove (Banfield).
