Violent fighting in a protest against a financier in Corrientes: two gunshot wounds

The scandal over alleged financial frauds has reached the height of tension in Catamarca: this Wednesday night and amid the raid of savers on a house owned by one of the financiers two people were shot.

The incident occurred hours later in the same province -and for another case- back to jail Edgar Adhemar Bacchiani, after being given 6 days house arrest to assess whether he is in a position to pay his debts.

Sierra and Véliz were both accused of “fraud”, “money laundering” and “unauthorized financial intermediation”, and were investigated this Monday morning.

Over the weekend and with more than 30 complaints against him, Federal Justice ordered a search of the areas where the company operates, where National Gendarmerie personnel seized a large number of computers, technological equipment and documents.

A previous protest

Prior to this serious incident, a group of savers had been deceived by various companies (this includes Adhemar Capital) concentrated in the center of the capital city to demand the return of their savings.
