After disrupting his second tournament since he had an accident that left him on the brink of retirement, Tiger Woods lived a nightmare in the third round of the PGA Championship on Saturday with a result of eight to half points, which brought the him in the last positions.
The third day of this Grand Slam tournament began more than half an hour late due to a strong storm on the Southern Hills course in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
American Will Zalatoris, leader of the event, and Chilean Mito Pereira, the main chaser with a shot away, are set to start the final group at 3:50 pm in Argentina.

Among the first golfers to face new conditions on the course was Tiger Woods, who was able to avoid elimination on Friday with a good reaction in the final half of his round despite playing with a visible strain.
Woods, 46, is taking the result of multiple fractures he sustained in his right leg in his car accident in February 2021 and needs physical therapy and ice baths to recover after each round.
Despite the applause of a crowd of fans, Tiger fell on Saturday morning as he paid for the effort and difficult condition of the course, with a fuzzy round of five bogeys and a double bogey on the first 11 holes.
Woods dipped a par-saving 13-foot putt on the first hole, but bogeyed the next hole and missed the 5-foot birdie putt on the fourth.

The worst moment came on the sixth hole, where he sent the ball back into the water until he made a devastating triple bogey.
This result left Tiger with a cumulative +11 in last place among 79 players who made the cut on Friday, which failed to defeat world number one Scottie Scheffler, winner of the last Augusta Masters.
The Tiger, winner of 15 Grand Slam tournaments, saw leader Zalatori 20 strokes away.
Zalatoris, number 30 in the PGA and no win to his credit, leads the table with an accumulated 131 strokes (-9), one lead to Pereira and three to Justin Thomas.
Behind is American Bubba Watson, with -5, and a group with Mexican Abraham Ancer, Northern Irishman Rory McIlroy and American Davis Riley, with -4.
Other figures also suffered from the brutality of Saturday’s course, such as American Brooks Koepka, who had a bogey and double bogey on his first five holes.
Spaniard Jon Rahm, number two in the world rankings, dropped six positions to 47th with a bogey on his first five holes.
