Coinciding with the second day of Roland Garros, the ATP on Monday updated the world ranking, where there are no changes to the Top 10 and where Serbian Novak Djokovic continues as leader, who will debut this Monday in Paris in the night session against to Yoshihito Nishioka of Japan in search of his third Musketeers Cup.
Behind the Serbian player will be seen Russian Daniil Medvedev, German Alexander Zverev, Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas and Spanish Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz completing the top 6.
The winners of the last two tournaments have played before Roland Garros, Norwegian Casper Ruud in Geneva and British Cameron Norrie in Lyon, respectively occupying the 8th and 11th positions in the world ranking.
Swiss Roger Federer, formerly world number 1 and no longer playing due to injury since Wimbledon 2021, has lost another spot and is now the 47th ranked player.
The Argentines? Diego Schwartzman is still the best —and also the best among Latin Americans. from the 16th step of classification. Sebastián Báez, who reached the quarterfinals in Lyon where he lost to champion Norrie, climbed two positions to 36th, while Francisco Cerúndolo dropped one spot to 45th.
