San Lorenzo has no peace. Problems accumulate on a daily basis. And in tandem with the sporting and institutional crisis, new conflicts at the financial level are emerging that dispel the anger among fans on social networks for questionable management of the club’s assets.

The choices of reinforcements and the amounts spent are in everyone’s sight. And the list is long. The latest case is Colombian midfielder Yeison Gordillo, who is leaving the Boedo club for free after the Barça team paid $ 1.2 million for him at the start of 2021 for 80% of the pass.

The case of the 29-year-old midfielder is not new. In January of this year he had already asked San Lorenzo for inhibition because of the debts he had accumulated in the collection of his contract. After arranging a payment plan, the soccer player returned to face the Guild members six months after the agreement, as they had not paid him on time. Thus, his departure is in question in exchange for a debt to the player.

But this is not the only case. This last time, San Lorenzo put together a team with players with very high salaries, in an old dollar, to try to be competitive. Then came the poor sports results, the empty ark and an expense impossible to deal with. And the bomb exploded …

The situation he went through must be added to the Colombian Franco Di Santowhich comes for free Storm but a contract was signed at the European level and in dollars for non -payment of the transfer, and by the Paraguayan brothers Oscar Y Angel Romero paid $ 4.1 million for 80% of the pass of the same.

Everyone left holding a pass and San Lorenzo received nothing. Of course, he was left in debts. The payment plan to organize these players will begin in August.

Are there similar situations? Yes. Nicholas Navarro (Free), Fernando Monetti (Free), Santiago Vergini (Free and Lucas Menosi (two million dollars). They all demanded freedom of action in exchange for the debt the club owed them and signed with another club without San Lorenzo receiving any money.

The case of players where Boedo’s team paid for their record and did not perform as expected should also be highlighted. Mathias Corujo Arrived at Storm in June 2016 to replace Buffarini’s departure in exchange for two million dollars and release Peñarol in Uruguay. For Ruben BottaSan Lorenzo paid 1.5 million dollars and was also free.

for passes of alexis castro, Gudino, tucu Salazar Y Bruno Pitton San Lorenzo paid approximately six million dollars. They all became free to act and good results were not seen.

The case of Juan Ramirez

But the case of the 29-year-old midfielder Juan Ramirez -San Lorenzo paid a million and a half dollars to Talleres de Córdoba for 60% of its file in June 2019 – it was so strong in Boedo’s offices that the directors themselves had to come out to clarify what happened in an official statement .

The footballer, who on Sunday lifted the League Cup with Boca, came on Xeneize in July last year and, according to reports, this merger would have been granted freedom of action.

But Barça leaders have come out to deny this fact saying it is “baseless and malicious” versions. In the document, it is stated that Boca Juniors follow the rules agreed between the clubs: administer the amount of compensation for the termination of the contract of Juan Ramírez (u $ s 2,227,172 net).

The official statement

Due to the baseless and malicious version spreading on social networks about the transfer of player Juan Ramírez to Club Boca Juniors, Club San Lorenzo de Almagro clarified the following:

1) Both clubs, together with the player, sign a contract under which the player terminates his relationship with San Lorenzo in exchange for payment of the agreed compensation, an obligation assumed to the Boca club, both in relation to the agreed compensation price and about the costs and expenses seen in the Official Gazette of AFA No. 5576 for these purposes.

2) Thus, San Lorenzo already receives the price of compensation agreed for the total amount of US $ 2,227,172 net, an amount paid by Boca on the applicable agreed terms (only the final payment equal to the amount of US $ 2,227,172 is pending). $ 350,000 ending 06/30/22).

3) Also, Boca, in the said agreement, assumes the obligation to pay San Lorenzo the amount of US $ 100,000 each time the club wins the championship title in any of the regular AFA tournaments, as well as the obligation to pay the US $ 100,000. is 500,000 in case the club wins the title of Champion of the Copa Libertadores de América for the duration of the contractual relationship between Boca and the player, and there is a maximum limit between all these goals of US $ 500,000. All this can be seen in the contract signed by the three parties and duly presented to the AFA and the Argentine Soccer Players Association, as well as in the proper registration in the final balance of San Lorenzo.

4) As can be seen, these baseless accusations – which are added to the many others that appear on social networks every day – are completely untrue and their only purpose – by permanently deceiving club members – to try to discredit its Directors, without necessarily harming the institution.
