I usually don’t have a hard time picking a favorite for this type of encounter, but I have to say that this opportunity is a bit different.

Real are sticking to a series of stunning performances in knockout ties.

The scenario has always been the same against the big teams of Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Manchester City: winning the comeback at every opportunity thanks to the collective explosion of a team showing extraordinary strength of character this season.

Karim Benzema, big favorite for Golden Ball and leader of this group, has the chance to put on an extraordinary season with, in key, the 14th European Cup for this legendary club.

Even the non -signing of young prodigy Kylian Mbappé doesn’t seem to bother this team too much.

If some players like Luka Modric or Benzema have shown publicly their frustration, the experience of the latter will help the group focus on the important thing: the pitch.

Liverpool, for their part, have made an almost flawless run in its 2021-2022 edition of Large cut of the ear.

Although their roster looks more loose than Real Madrid, the Reds have not lost a game to Inter Milan, Benfica and Villarreal in the knockout round.

Jürgen Klopp’s staff show impressive offensive strength to players like Sadio Mané or Mohamed Salah, who fully adhere to the game plan proposed by the German coach.

A dream chance to get revenge after the lost final in 2018 against the same Real Madrid.
