Spaniard Marc Márquez announced on Saturday that he will again undergo an operation on his right arm after being involved in a shocking accident during qualifying for the Italian Moto GP Grand Prix to be held on Sunday at the Mugello International Autodrome and if where the six-time champion of the highest category, before being dropped again for an indefinite period.

During a rainy season on the Tuscan circuit, the accident occurred as Q2 begins for the eighth round of the season in the premier category for two wheels. Márquez, who had already had problems earlier in the third training session, lost control of his Honda on Turn 2 of the track, fell on the tarmac and slipped on gravel. Several times the motorcycle crashed and caught fire.

Despite the spectacular nature of the event, the six-time category champion stood up immediately and returned to the pit. However, the test adjustment caused red flags to show and the session was neutralized so that the floor could be cleaned and reconditioned.
