The Argentines started this adventure in Paris last Tuesday when they beat Americans Lindsay Davenport and Mary Joe Fernandez with a double 6-3. Then it was a defeat against locals Tatiana Golovin and Nathalie Tauziat, 6-4, 6-4. And now it’s time to celebrate again, waiting to see how the zone continues to define whether or not to qualify for the final.

Gaby and Gisela beat the Croatian duo this morning Majoli VAT numberwinner of Roland Garros in 1997, and the venue Maria Piercechampion also in Paris but in 2000 and winner of the Australian Open in 1995.

In just over an hour of play Sabatini and Dulko have realized the match against their rivals with a convincing 6-4 and 6-1, and will have to wait for the results of the opponents to decide whether or not to enter the definition phase.

With tennis moments that reminded us of Sabatini’s old golden days on the courts, the Argentine girls continue to enjoy this fun French brick dust adventure. An experience that led Gabriela to be encouraged to resume the racket shortly after her 52nd birthday and 26 years after her retirement from professional activity.
