Calmly, Neymar waits for the South Korean goalkeeper to move send the ball to the bottom of the net on the other side.
With the game resolved, Tite decided to move the bench and was successful with his substitutions, as Philippe Coutinho and Gabriel Jesús managed to score after entering the field.
Raphina, in the 75th minute, sent a shot from outside the box to the post and shortly after Coutinho, in his first appearance, finished with great quality an assist pumped by Lucas Paquetá inside the area.
With a fresh attack and midfield, replacing the three midfielders and three forwards, Brazil ended up overpowering the rival, with a scorer Gabriel Jesús closed in time off, finishing a good personal play on the right and finishing 19 games without scoring for his team.
Brazil’s victory over South Korea
With the victory, Brazil confirms the good moment they are going through, after the brilliant qualifying phase for Qatar in the South American group, and now they will travel to Tokyo, where they will face Japan on Monday.
Tite’s men celebrate four years since their defeat against Belgium in the 2018 Russia quarter-finals this week. Since that date, they have only one defeat in their history, even if it is very painful for their internal fire: the final. America’s Cup 2021 against Argentina at Maracana.
That victory of Scaloni’s team sharpened the eternal rivalry that embody Brazil and Argentina, and demonstrated it in the last hours with the humming that the Albiceleste squad dedicated to Canarinha after winning the Grand Final against Italy at Wembley.
On the South Korean team, which will play the World Cup in Qatar in group H with Portugal, Uruguay and Ghana, his coach, the Portuguese Paulo Bento, will have three more games in the coming days to hone his team, against Chile, Paraguay and Egypt.
