Kirsten Moore-Towers and Michael Marinaro, who lined up to win three Canadian pairs titles, announced their retirement from competitive figure skating on Tuesday.
Moore-Towers, 29, of St. Catharines, and Marinaro, 30, from Sarnia, won the first of their five national medals in 2017, when they won bronze.
The Ontario couple also won bronze in 2018, before winning three consecutive Canadian titles from 2019 to 2022.
They won seven medals at the ISU Grands Prix and qualified for the finals of this series in 2019, where they finished in 5th position.
Moore-Towers and Marinaro have twice represented Canada at the Olympics. They took 11th place in 2018 in Pyeongchang, South Korea, and 10th in 2022 in Beijing.
They have also participated in the World Championships four times. They finished in the top 8 each time.

Moore-Towers and Marinaro enjoyed international success with various partners, before forming a team in 2014.
Moore-Towers skated with Dylan Moscovitch from 2009 to 2014. He won the Canadian title in 2011. They were also part of the Canadian team that won silver in the team event at the 2014 Olympics, in Sochi, Russia.
Marinaro skated with Margaret Purdy from 2007 to 2014. They won silver in the world juniors in 2013.
