Murray stepped forward
Two-time Wimbledon champion Andy Murray defeated Alexander Bublik 6-3, 7-6 (7/4) to reach the quarter-finals in Germany.
The 35-year-old Scotsman erased a 2-5 deficit in the second set.
He missed a good portion of the clay season to prepare for the grass.
His next rival could be favorite Stefanos Tsitsipas, facing Swiss Dominic Stricker, coming off the qualifiers.
