Paris Saint-Germain are close to reaching an agreement with Zinedine Zidane for the former French player as the club’s next manager, replacing Argentinian Mauricio Pochettino, who continues in the position, French media Europe 1 and RMC ensured on Friday.
Radio station Europa 1 said that “an agreement in principle has been reached between Paris Saint-Germain and Zinedine Zidane for the former number 10 to become the next manager of the club, starting next season”.
Less conclusive, RMC indicates that the capital club, owned by Qatar since 2011, “is close to reaching an agreement with Zinedine Zidane to replace Mauricio Pochettino as manager”.
Consulted by the AFP news agency, PSG has neither confirmed nor denied this information.
