River will have two reinforcements this week. One of them will come from Colombia. It’s Miguel Borgia. The other already belongs to River but is on loan to Colón. I’m Luca Beltran. In this way, the attackers already begin to fall Marcello Gallardo restores some tranquility to the body.

“Only the details remain,” a River official confirmed to Clarín about the pass from Borja, a 29-year-old Junior de Barranquilla player. And all that remains is to finish fine-tuning the numbers between the two clubs, but there will be no problems. And the purchase of 50 percent of the pass (the other half belongs to Palmeiras) that Junior has will be between 5 and 6 million dollars, which is what the Núñez institute will pay.

Meanwhile, the contract has already been prepared with the player, which will be one of the highest in the “Millionaire” squad. For the negotiation to be unlocked in the last few hours, the word of Borja was fundamental, who asked the Juniores management to transfer him to the River.

Borja was back in Junior last year in Junior after moving from Palmeiras and at the beginning of this 2022 the Barranquilla club bought half of his practice for 3.5 million dollars. And they gave him a three-year contract. But the sporting goals were not those hoped for in the first half, in which Junior was not champion of the Colombian tournament and was excluded in the first phase of the South American Cup. And then River appeared.

Gallardo’s team will have a new “9”. And it won’t be the only one. Beltrán will dress the band again. The Cordovan youth teams have left Santa Fe in the midst of a conflict with Colón, a club in which they will no longer play. He had been on loan there for a year and had another six months left on his contract, but River had the option of availing himself of his repechage clause. The problem is that it must be completed by June 30th because the deadline for transcribing it in the Copa Libertadores expires on the 25th.

Given this situation, Colón, a possible rival of River in the quarter-finals of the continental tournament, would score the same for the round of 16. And if that happens, River will not be able to use it in the Cup.

To finish breaking the deadlock, Colón wants River to buy the remaining 50 percent of Alex Vigo for a million dollars. Regardless of what happens upon entry into the Cup list, Beltrán will return to the River.
