Defense and Justice have received a severe blow against Godoy Cruz, in Mendoza. Leading 1-0, Sebastián Beccacece’s side showed some defensive distractions and the locals overturned the game with two headed goals. After the defeat and with his pulse racing, the TD lost the chance to abandon the technical leadership of Halcón de Varela.
“I’m not sure about the next match. I have to check,” the manager from Rosario said at a press conference after the match in the fourth round of the Professional Soccer League.
The exDT of Racing and Independiente, among other clubs, showed some unease: “Things have happened during the week. The Directive (Commission) has removed some players. We will evaluate the situation to see what we do,” he said.
The possible departures of Colombian midfielder Raúl Loaiza and striker Walter Bou from Entre Ríos, both wanted by Lanús, could be crucial in the manager’s decision.
“This team arming and disarming tires us a little, really,” surprised Beccacece, who appears as an important alternative to take over the leadership of the Peruvian team, should Ricardo Gareca decide not to continue driving.
