“It was a terrible night. In a place where I was comfortable, with a person I loved. And suddenly it wasn’t like that anymore. It was very shocking, it hurt me in every way,” said the woman. in a TV interview.
Villa, on the other hand, already knows the start date of the oral trial for gender-based violence against the ex-girlfriend. It will be between 19 and 21 September at the Corrective Court 2 of Lomas de Zamora. In this case, the attacker is accused of minor injuries aggravated by the bond and of having mediated gender-based violence and coercive threats against the former partner.
The criminal complaint dates back to April 2020, when the woman disseminated images of Villa’s violence on social media. In the videos and photos, she was visibly beaten. She recounted the different incidents she suffered and described Villa as “a molester, both physically and psychologically”.
