The name of Anita Alvarez keep giving what to talk about. And it is that, after she suddenly passed out while doing her routine in the synchronized swimming test and was rescued by her coach from the bottom of the pool, where she had been submerged for about two minutes, the main topic of discussion was whether the athlete American were to compete this Friday in the team final of their specialty.

The controversy seemed to have ended with the word of the US team’s health services, which had authorized the swimmer to compete in the test which will take place around 11:00 (Argentine time). The truth is that the International Swimming Federation (FINA) took a different view and decided veto the registration of Álvarez.
