Independent begins to close a week that, from the results, is unbeatable. Monday the Red gave the blow by beating Estudiantes de La Plata 2-1 at the Libertadores de América stadium for the Professional League and this Wednesday advanced to the round of 16 of the Argentine Cup after eliminating Atlético Tucumán. But one situation drew attention and provoked a riot of campus players: could not complete the bench due to lack of players.
The truth is that the situation in Avellaneda is far from ideal, and despite the Independiente having managed to put together two victories and to settle in the Professional League standings, behind closed doors, everything becomes more and more complicated due to the lack of reinforcements. Eduardo Domínguez insists, but for the first time since he took office he has chosen silence, in front of which it was the players who raised their voices publicly.

And that also has to do with the release of several playerssince at the same time the management escaped Rodrigo Allendro formulated, exploded at the departure of white sunday and the almost confirmed departure of Geronimo Poblete. The leadership had promised Domínguez several reinforcements, but the pass market opened a month ago and for now it has only arrived Ivan Marconi.
The arrival of Marcone, in fact, is what excites the fans most, but the midfielder with a past in Elche was not one of those targeted by the DT, who also raised his thumb before his arrival. The midfielder, a Rossoneri fan, went out of their way to get thereand that is why today it is the only incorporation.
Domínguez does not complete the substitutes’ bench and with the negotiation for the Uruguayan Gabriele Neves stagnant, the management’s priority would be to keep Gerónimo Poblete and Juan Cazares in the squad. After the match against Atlético, Uruguayan goalkeeper Sebastián Sosa was strong: “We need reinforcements. Poblete and Cazares must stay. We want to put together a competitive squad “.
The first to speak was the goalkeeper, but the position of the squad is unanimous and another of those who expressed himself was Gioacchino Laso. The defender stated: “We have a short squad. For now we are who we are here and we have to carry on the games, like today. We have to continue. We joke with Poblete and Cazares to be with us.”.
Far from having to do with an attitude of conformity, the suspension of the press conference of Eduardo Dominguez after the victory in the Copa Argentina he went to the other side. The DT preferred not to speak, which is atypical considering how it is managed, and internally there is talk of a nuisance with the management, which would have promised a different market from the previous one.

Despite the pressure of the players, the reinforcements did not arrive and, in full crisis, another who chose to speak was the team captain Luca Romero. “We understand that we have to add reinforcements to compete well”he expressed.
Finally, the one who arrived at the intersection of the management was another of the referents of the team commanded by Domínguez Leandro Fernandez. “In Independiente we need reinforcements to get to have internal competition in the group and translate the idea of the coach”launched the striker, who has just converted to Estudiantes for the Professional League.
And when the priority was to incorporate a nine of the hierarchy, what was discovered was Leandro Benegas, almost in unison with the collapse of Franco Di Santo’s negotiations. The situation is critical and what happened to Aliendro was the drop that overflowed the camel’s back, so inside The Independiente will have to move to ensure the continuity of Eduardo Domínguez.
