Now, the one targeted by his criticisms was the Chilean Roberto Tobarreferee of the match between Boca and Corinthians for the first leg of the second round of the Copa Libertadores.
It is known that the Kun is a symbol of Independiente and that he has some familiar sympathy for the River Plate, although he also has his own son Benjamin Fanatic Xeneize. Thus, his opinion becomes more valid since it is not motivated by fanaticism for one or the other shirt.
And his opinion was strong. Kun spoke about the performance of the Chilean referee, protagonist of several actions on Tuesday evening in Sao Paulo. First of all by sanctioning a penalty in favor of the local team, which seemed well charged. But even omitting a hand that appeared to be undetected and that the VAR did not consider worthy of being reviewed by the referee. All of this was reflected in the audios Conmebol later shared.
But what pulled him out of Kun was the way Tobar treated the players, and in particular with Marcos Rojo, Agüero’s former teammate in the Argentina national team.
